I Heard Real Bloggers Have Editorial Calendars, So I Got One, Too. Humph.

Though my blog is still really new, I realized I need structure, and a plan.   In fact, you’ll notice with my personal “Diary” posts, structure and planning tend to be common themes and threads in my life. Lately, I’ve just come to accept that I’m a girl who needs it. After all, I was raised by a military dad, and it’s really all know.   So I’ve decided that I will develop an “editorial calendar” so-to-speak to keep me on some sort of track, and get you guys used to checking back for the content that you like. Thanks @Door16 for the suggestion.

First things first, my blog is about my life.  I envision it to be sort of like a coming of age (age to be determined lol), online journal,  “day in the life of” type of thing about figuring things out, stuff I like, my dating experiences, should I get on e-harmony or not? Oh, and food of course (#umYum)!

Rest assured guys. I’m your typical girl. I have goals I want to reach, weight I want to lose, and clothes I want to buy.  I research everything to get ideas on how I want to accomplish those things and again, then I plan.

If I don’t accomplish something, I say ugh!!! Binge on some ice cream for a week, watch a lot of Oprah (which I do regularly anyways but times that by 10), and prepare to start again – on Monday.

But sometimes, I just say FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU)*#%)*%!

And move on.

Nonetheless, here’s what I came up with:

MONDAYS:  Inspiration (Style + Spiritual + Lifestyle)
TUESDAYS: Stuff I Buy/Radar ( Recent purchases or stuff on my radar)
WEDNESDAYS:  Me & Dad (Bloom and The Sarge Text Convos)
THURSDAYS:  Diary  (Do Something,  Live life, Regroup, Reflect)
FRIDAYS: Food (Happy Hours, Cocktails, Restaurants I want to try)
SATURDAY + SUNDAY: Random Posts, Pictures, Series.

I don’t think I will post every day because some of these are things I want to start doing….Like my style for instance, it sucks smh, and that’s really one area I want to improve majorly because to quote Deion Sanders:

“U look good u feel good,u feel good u play good,u play good they pay good, they pay good u live good,u live good u thank God 4 it all! TRUTH”

So Cheers to “Getting my Life…”

Let’s see how this goes guys….

Hi! My name is Cheryl but my friends call me Bloom. I'm a true, old soul millennial who decided to start a blog about becoming an adult, a woman, foodie and dating. I love self help books, oldies and talking to people about life. I like to laugh and tell jokes. I like to buy "sh!t" as my dad says that I usually don't need but what girl doesn't?! Thanks for stopping by. Come back any time.
