“Sacrifice” is only a good idea if what you seek to gain is worth more than what you stand to lose. Lose yourself to know yourself. Sacrifice living in your comfort zone. Sacrifice living under false ideals and stereotypes that others have set for you to gain your own identity. Sacrifice what feels familiar, especially if it is abusive, toxic or unloving, to gain the opportunity to experience real love and affection. Sacrifice being your own worst enemy and become your best friend. Give up what you think you know for what you need to learn. Be willing to challenge your beliefs, unhealthy patterns, and the uncomfortableness of unlearning to relearn, and rethink, and reevaluate what is best for you. Sacrifice the falsities you accepted as your guideposts turned reality. Bad idea. Sacrifice the old for the new, the ordinary for the truth, the glitter for the gold, the self-limiting beliefs for the you that knows no limits.
