Women’s March on Washington

January 21, 2017. Easily one of the best days of my life. I participated in the global Women’s March – initially orchestrated to take place in Washington DC but quickly became a viral movement all over the world.  As a woman, human being, citizen, and activist  – I woke up ready to be present and stand in unity with like-minded people who wanted to represent [boldly but clearly] for what they believed in. I am no different.

I woke up, unsure if I wanted to go at first but something inside my heart said – get up and show up. [that and I saw my friend on FB Live down in the mix]. Just the push I needed.

It will be something I cherish forever.

Snapped a few pictures. The signs, as I’m sure you heard by now, were If you participated – tell me what you thought?  Link me to your photos.

Take care,

One thing I learned for sure: there is power and numbers. This was only the beginning.

Hi! My name is Cheryl but my friends call me Bloom. I'm a true, old soul millennial who decided to start a blog about becoming an adult, a woman, foodie and dating. I love self help books, oldies and talking to people about life. I like to laugh and tell jokes. I like to buy "sh!t" as my dad says that I usually don't need but what girl doesn't?! Thanks for stopping by. Come back any time.
